2. Type of cloth matters

Now that you have those throw blankets or colorful rugs around your house, make sure you choose the right material that’s easy to clean. Pet furs and smell might be hard to come off especially on wool and rugs made up of natural fibers. There are a lot of rugs available in the local markets that are made up of synthetic materials, with desirable patterns. It is recommended to choose those with dark colors and small patterns to hide stains easily.

3. Plan the placement of your furniture

Let’s face it; pets are now part of your family. With that, pets are now an essential part of our lives—including the process of planning. In particular, dogs just love to chomp on almost everything that they see. Hence, it is important to keep them away from the things that they are most likely to chew.

4. Make room for beds and a place for them to dump their waste
